Respiratory tract: air, proximity and shared areas

This section brings together the respiratory tract records. It helps to choose between markers on indoor air, contacts and the protection of fragile people. The agents differ in their infectiousness, symptoms and immunization possibilities.

The distinctions that change reading

Location

Specify indoor or outdoor, air renewal, occupancy density and duration of presence.

Persons

Take into account symptoms, contacts and vulnerabilities; an empty room and an occupied room do not constitute the same context.

Combined measures

Air conditioning, behaviour, vaccination and appropriate protections are complementary.

Practical issues

Does CO2 measure a virus directly?

No. It can inform the air renewal of an occupied premises, without identifying an agent or calculating the individual risk.

Before interpreting a sheet

Find the agent's name, the indicated routes and the primary source. Then check the date and territory of this source. A section helps to compare; it does not determine a person's medical conduct.

This list comes from the same database as the directory. The "Reference" link opens the primary source; the detailed sheets are accessible when they exist.
